Зимовий марафон листів для в'язнів Кремля ... дo 15.1.2018

Pořádá Євромайдан SOS

Четвертий рік поспіль Євромайдан SOS разом із партнерами проводить традиційний зимовий марафон написання листів в'язням Кремля у рамках кампанії LetMyPeopleGo, щоб подарувати їм трохи тепла напередодні Різдва та Нового року.

Зимові свята в холодних російських тюрмах будуть зустрічати більше 60 громадян України. Їх ув’язнено за сфабрикованими справами на загальний строк близько 200 років. Серед них студенти, багатодітні батьки, люди з тяжкими захворюваннями, лідери кримськотатарського народу, правозахисники, митці та журналісти.

Для них листи із волі - це ковток свободи, зв'язок із зовнішнім світом та величезна моральна підтримка. Листи нагадують їм, що про них не забувають, що за їхнє звільнення борються, щ...о їх чекають на волі.

Аби пройти тюремну цензуру слід дотримуватися простих правил:
- писати російською мовою;
- дотримуватися політичної нейтральності;
- вказувати на конверті рік народження, повне ім’я, по батькові та прізвище адресата;
- вкласти у конверт чисті аркуші паперу, російську марку (за наявності) та конверт, якщо ви сподіваєтеся на відповідь.

For the fourth year in a row, Euromaidan SOS and its partners are conducting a winter letter writing marathon in support of political prisoners held by the Kremlin as part of the LetMyPeopleGo campaign to share the warmth of Christmas holidays.

More than 60 Ukrainian citizens will spend the winter holidays in cold Russian prisons this year. Held on completely trumped-up charges, their aggregate prison sentence comes up to nearly 200 years. Among the imprisoned there are students, multi-child parents, people suffering serious illnesses, leaders of the Crimean Tatar people, human rights activists, artists and journalists.

For them, receiving a letter is like a breath of freedom, a connection to the outside wo...rld and tremendous moral support. Letters remind them that they are not forgotten, that people are fighting for them to be released and await them.

For the letters to pass the prison censors, follow these simple rules:
- write in Russian;
- maintain political neutrality;
- indicate on the envelope the full name, patronymic, last name and year of birth of the addressee;
- enclose blank pieces of paper, postal stamp and an envelope if you expect to receive a reply.

The LetMyPeopleGo campaign was initiated by Euromaidan SOS to defend all Ukrainian citizens imprisoned on political grounds in Russia and occupied Crimea. The campaign’s objective is to achieve the release of all people on the list of LetMyPeopleGo.
